WHO HE WAS NOT
Mark 3:16-19) These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter), James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means "sons of thunder"), Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
WHO HE WAS

Matthew 13:55-57) "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?" And they took offense at him.
THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT HE WAS THE MESSIAH
Mark 3:20-21) Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind."
John 7:5) For even his own brothers did not believe in him.
SEEING IS BELIEVING

THE CHANGES GOD CAN MAKE IN US
